I had a great time exhibiting at the 114th Missouri Osteopathic Annual Convention at the Lodge of the Four Seasons a few weeks ago. As a repeat exhibitor, I recognized a lot of familiar faces but still met many new practicing D.O.s, residents and medical students.
Many of the physicians that stopped by our booth took the time to try a sample of Effer-K. They described the taste of Effer-K20 mEq orange cream dissolved in water as “very palatable” and “like orange soda.” Those who sampled the unflavored Effer-K dissolved in apple juice described the taste as “just like apple juice.” I think many of them are surprised to find the taste to be so different from KCl, but just as effective in potassium repletion.
The Missouri Osteopathic Annual Convention is a very well-run meeting where exhibitors get a lot of time to chat with the physicians. Both physicians and exhibitors are incentivized with prizes to make as many contacts as possible.
Unfortunately – I didn’t win anything at the meeting but made up for it shopping at the Lake outlet mall where I felt like a winner after scoring so many bargains!
If you are interested in Effer-K but didn’t get a chance to attend the Missouri Osteopathic Annual Convention, feel free to visit the Effer-K web site and request samples for your patients.
