Yesterday we received a request for a free one-month supply of Effer-K from a husband of a woman who is suffering from esophageal cancer. Apparently she had been prescribed KCl tablets (or liquid KCl) due to her potassium deficiency caused by her chemotherapy regimen. The KCl was almost unbearable for her to take, so her husband searched on-line for an alternative and voila! he found Effer-K.

Coincidentally, the patient was being treated at the Siteman Cancer Center here in St. Louis – so we actually hand-delivered samples to her physician.
